About

Hello! I'm Michelle and I am a postgraduate researcher in the United States. I work in higher education administration and I have recently completed my Master of Art in English Multicultural Literature remotely from Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington! My focus in my field is on identity within theatre, poetry, and literature. I recently ended my self-imposed studies break and am currently seeking PhD programs anywhere in the US!

I have experience in libraries, higher education administration, research, community management, and more.

I've also spoken at conferences, have upcoming published chapters in collections, and have other works under publication consideration.

I am always happy to discuss my research topics, research opportunities, job opportunities, and similar! I am currently working on my PhD application packet for the next application cycle.

My most recently published essay can be found in Black Witches and Queer Ghosts and is available now!

Upcoming: You can also pre-order The Lizard People Don't Want You to Read This which features a chapter I wrote about Mothman, conspiracy, and folkloric grief processing.

My next conference presentation will be at PAMLA 2025 in San Francisco this Fall!

Stay tuned as I currently have many upcoming chapters in various stages of editing and drafting that will be published within the next year!
